Blackboard Jungle

Was watching TV this weekend and there it was – the movie that influenced so many U.K. bands to switch from skiffle to “Beat” music.  Watching it now it seems hard to imagine that audiences in Europe were incited to tear up the movie theaters.  Today this movie would encourage us to finish school and enroll in a community college.

The Beatles moved into the top spot of the U.S. for the 7th time with “Help”.
