The Action were earlier known as The Boys (see The British Invasion: June 12th, 1965) and they backed Sandra Alfred (Sandra Barry).  As the Action they formed in London around 1966 and included Reg King – Vocals,  Peter Watson,  Alan King, Mike Evans, and Roger Powell among others.
