Colorado Music Hall of Fame Inductees
The Band has it’s origins at the University of Colorado where in 1969 students Warren Knight, Harold Fielden and Linn Phillips mused on starting up a rock and roll greaser band. They searched through the Boulder ranks of musicians sometimes being turned down (Tommy Bolin) before coming across CU student Mick Manresa who would “front” the band as “Flash”.
They were booked into Boulder’s “Hill” establishment Tulagi’s where they soon caught on with the student population. Read their entire history on the official Flash Cadillac web site.
Other members along the way included Kris Moe (keyboards), Charlie Phillips, Sam McFadin (became new Flash), Ken Gingrich (vocals), Dumas Bement (sax). Moe, Linn Phillips and McFadin are all deceased. Visit the Flash Cadillac Discography Page.
