KIMN Beat Magazine was published nationally and sold in retail outlets for 25 cents locally during the mid 1960’s. The magazine was marketed on front and back – and generally on one inside page – for a local radio market such as KIMN. The local page accepted input from the targeted market area radio station each month. The remainder of the editorial and advertising was boilerplate and common to all markets. The front covers of those Beat magazines located to date are shown here – each cover followed by local inside photos (when available).
