Mary MacGregor (Steamboat)

Mary MacGregor resided for a time in Steamboat Springs – Colorado northern Ski Town for about four years. Her career as a singer took off after departing Colorado, then coming to the attention of folk singer Peter Yarrow. She next hit it big with “Torn Between Two Lovers” in 1976. That song – co-written by Yarrow – would jet son to the top of the Hot 100. She would chart six more times but coming nowhere near her debut success.
