Motown’s Gordy LP’s from 1980 through 1990
Gordy LP’s continued to be numbered consecutively and independent of other Motown labels until 1982 at which time the Motown numbering system changed with all existing Motown labels sharing a common consecutive numbering system. Also, as the 90’s approached – Motown began releasing LP’s in other formats including cassette and CD – as did all record producers – eventually culminating in the demise of vinyl. Only vinyl releases are presented here.
