Jimmy Boyd – was on the charts early – 1952 – with a number 1 record! – “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”. The following year he managed a number 3 hit with “Tell Me A Story” – and that was that – never again to chart. Jimmy passed away at the age of 70 in 2009. Gary Bonner co-wrote Turtle Hits including “Happy Together”, “You Know What I Mean”, “She’d Rather Be With Me” and “She’s My Girl”.

Bonner along with Alan Gordon wrote a ton of songs for others including “Cat in the Window” by Petula Clark, “Girls in Love” & “Jill” by Gary Lewis and Playboys, “Melancholy Music Man” by the Righteous Brothers, “Two in the Afternoon” by Dino, Desi and Billy.
