Vik recording artists from 1957. Vikki released two singles with Vik: 273 “Like a Baby” b/w “I Was a Fool for Leaving” in 1957 and later in the year Vik 292 “You Can’t Get Away from Me” b/w “Just One More Smile”. She did not make the charts nationally. On VIK 273 she was backed by The Sounds. Vik 272 is credited to Buddy Cole so I am assuming that The Mamselles backed him up. Again – no national chart action for this group. I did find a single local charting by a group called the Mamselles – radio station WMCA in New York – “Paradise Is Where He Is” #41 on October 1st, 1964 – Could it Be?
